How It Started
From Greenville to the
Outer Banks
Hello! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Eyan Eagle and I grew up in Greenville, North Carolina — dedicating a decade of my childhood years to competitive swimming and spending summers visiting Atlantic Beach to surf and fish. In 2016, I made the move to Corolla to work for Corolla Beach Rescue as a lifeguard.
That fall, I started the Dare County Fire Academy and became a professional firefighter in 2018. I split my time between fire, ocean rescue, and managing Sun Ease.
While I was on shift, lifeguards would set up beach equipment for guests, loading everything into either their own vehicles or onto my F-150 with a custom rack built to carry it all. That was the start, and since then I have been dedicated to growing the business and leaving a positive impact on everyone who works with us.

How Sun Ease Helps the Beach
The majority of visitors who come to the Outer Banks pick up a cheap tent and chairs from a big-box store — and most have no idea how to properly secure them on the beach. Wind sends them tumbling, stakes get left behind, and broken gear piles up as beach trash that harms the very environment we all love.
At Sun Ease, we know exactly how to set up a safe, secure beach day — and we take that responsibility seriously. We're not just a rental company. We're part of the solution.
Less Beach Trash
Our crew picks up beach trash during every setup and breakdown. We leave the beach cleaner than we found it.
Safe & Secure Setup
Improperly anchored tents become dangerous projectiles. Our staff is trained to set up equipment correctly — every time.
Beach for Everyone
For those who are less physically able, hauling gear through sand can feel impossible. We bring the beach day to you — no heavy lifting required.
Surfrider Foundation
The Surfrider Foundation Outer Banks Chapter is a grassroots nonprofit fighting for clean water, healthy beaches, and open coastal access right here in Dare County.
Their local work includes coordinating the Adopt-A-Beach program — organizing individual, business, and organization sponsors to keep public beach accesses clean at least 6 times a year. They also campaign against harmful beach-fill erosion projects and advocate for sustainable shoreline solutions.
