What does Sun Ease Rentals do?

Sun Ease Rentals provides full-service beach equipment rentals in the Outer Banks, including delivery, professional setup, and removal. Your beach setup is ready when you arrive—no carrying, assembling, or hauling required.

How does beach setup service work in the Outer Banks?

After booking online, our team delivers and sets up your beach equipment early each morning at the beach access you select during checkout. You receive a confirmation text, then at the end of each day, we return to remove the equipment and repeat this process for the duration of your reservation.

Do I need to be present for setup or breakdown?

No. You do not need to be present for setup or removal. Our team uses the beach access and location details provided during booking to complete setup and takedown each day. This allows you to enjoy your vacation without coordinating schedules or waiting on the beach.

Do you provide setup services to non-oceanfront properties?

Yes, with the exception of our All-Inclusive Beach Service. There are no additional fees for non-oceanfront properties.

What locations do you service?

We currently provide beach services in Corolla, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Nags Head.

Do you deliver and set up equipment at all serviced beaches?

Yes. We provide delivery, setup, and removal at all beaches we service.

Are your setups compliant with local beach regulations?

Yes. All setups follow town-specific regulations for size, placement, spacing, setup timing, as well as insurance and permitting requirements. As a company founded by Outer Banks lifeguards, we understand how to work alongside local Ocean Rescue agencies and operate responsibly on the beach.

What equipment do you offer?

We offer high-quality beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach tents designed for comfort and durability. Additional items include YETI coolers, cornhole sets, and speakers.

What types of beach chairs do you have?

The All Inclusive Beach Service, as well as all chair and umbrella packages, come with oak wood frame, high back, reclining chairs. The Basic Tent Package comes with reclining Tommy Bahama chairs.

How are tents and umbrellas secured on the beach?

Our beach tents and umbrellas are secured using weighted sand buckets and straps. This method provides stable anchoring in normal coastal wind conditions and helps keep equipment safely in place throughout the day. Our team monitors weather and will adjust or remove equipment if conditions become unsafe.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for services in peak season, as availabilities are limited.

Do you offer multi-day or weekly rentals?

Yes. Multi-day and weekly rentals are available and offer the best value.

Can beach equipment be left on the beach overnight?

No. To protect equipment and maintain safe, clear beaches, all equipment is removed each evening. We take care of daily setup and removal so you don't have to worry about overnight conditions or beach access requirements.

Can I modify or cancel my reservation?

Cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy. Modifications will be granted when possible.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

If you cancel your reservation seven or more days before your scheduled start date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within the seven-day window, you will receive a 50% refund. If you paid by deposit and cancel within seven days of your scheduled start date, you will forfeit the deposit. No refunds are granted for cancellations made after the start date of your reservation. In the event of weather or tide-related issues leading to cancellation of service, 50% of the daily cost will be refunded for each full day cancellation initiated by Sun Ease Rentals.
